With a passion for Auctioneering, Mark and Ron founded Stock Auctions, with the vision of transforming the auction space and providing quality goods and services to all their customers. Under his leadership, BigIron has grown into a market leader impacting the agriculture equipment industry, as well as countless other verticals.

Ron, the consummate big-picture entrepreneur, continues to lead the real estate company and is well-known in the ag-land based sales and service markets. As a Working Owner and Advisory Board member, Ron’s high-energy approach has been foundational to the company’s launch and sustainability. Many associates have enjoyed the opportunity to reach their potential with his unique ability to inspire and motivate them to achieve. Ron is a licensed auctioneer and real estate broker in multiple states. He is also a past Nebraska Reserve Champion Auctioneer.

Terry brings 30 years of experience in developing innovative solutions and strategies to increase operational efficiencies and position companies for solid growth. Most recently, Terry served as Chief Financial Officer of The Sunrock Group, a vertically integrated construction company focused on aggregates, heavy construction contracting, asphalt, and concrete operations with locations in Raleigh, NC, and operations in Canada. Before joining Sunrock, Terry was Chief Financial Officer at RBI Corporation, a privately held distribution and manufacturing company aimed at arborist, lawn, and outdoor power equipment, and at CTG Holdings, a holding company comprised of six operations consisting of manufacturing, distribution, agencies, and brokers. He also served as Vice President and Corporate Controller at Qubica Holdings, a global private equity manufacturing company.

As COO and a member of the executive leadership team, Conner plays a crucial role in BigIron’s continuous efforts to drive growth and expansion of the online auction marketplace, enhance operational effectiveness, and provide exceptional customer experiences for buyers and sellers worldwide. Most recently, Conner was CEO of HGR Industrial Surplus, the leader in buying and selling used industrial surplus and equipment. Before joining HGR Industrial Surplus, Conner held senior executive positions at NRTC Automation, where he served as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Operations, as well as at Ritchie Bros. and IronPlanet, where he oversaw corporate operations and served as Vice President and General Manager of the company’s GovPlanet division.

Kimberly is a versatile, dedicated, and driven human resources and operations leader with a strong track record of success in people management and talent development. Kimberly is an experienced practitioner with years of experience building high-performing teams. Focused on some of the largest company initiatives, Kimberly and her team are tasked with enhancing the current employee value proposition and recruiting and retaining some of the most talented team members nationwide to support the expected growth in 2025. Her 24-plus years of leadership experience, specifically in the HR space, make her the cornerstone of our organization—developing and advancing our team.

Jake Schmitt serves as Chief Technology Officer at BigIron, where he leads the company’s technology strategy with a focus on scalable innovation, operational efficiency, and digital transformation. With over a decade of experience driving enterprise-level growth through pragmatic and future-ready solutions, Jake brings a unique blend of technical depth and executive leadership to BigIron’s mission of revolutionizing the online auction experience.
